Frequently Asked Questions

Everything you might want to know before we chat — because having information upfront matters.

General & Logistics

What does the first step look like?
It starts with a low-pressure, 15-minute “Chemistry Call.” We’ll chat about what’s going on for you and see if my style clicks with your needs. No sales pitch, no obligation — just two humans seeing if they can work together.
Do you meet in person or online?
I primarily work via Zoom/Google Meet, which allows me to support clients globally. However, if you are local, we can discuss in-person sessions or “walk-and-talk” coaching.

Neurodivergent Coaching

Do I need a formal diagnosis to work with you?
Absolutely not. Whether you have a formal diagnosis (ADHD, Autism, Dyslexia, etc.), are self-identified, or are simply “neuro-curious” and realise your brain processes the world differently, you are welcome here. We focus on the mechanics of your mind, not the paperwork.
How is this different from therapy?
Therapy often looks backward to heal past wounds; coaching looks forward to build future systems. While our work might be therapeutic, my focus is on practical strategies, self-advocacy tools, and helping you navigate your professional and personal life with your specific brain in mind.

Conflict Resolution

Do I need the person I’m in conflict with to attend the session?
Not necessarily. While I do offer joint facilitation, much of my work is “1-on-1 conflict coaching.” We work on your internal response, your communication scripts, and your strategy for navigating the friction. You’d be surprised how much a dynamic shifts when just one person changes their approach.
Is this the same as legal mediation?
No. I focus on the human side of the disagreement — the communication styles, the unmet needs, and the psychological safety. I don’t provide legal advice or binding settlements, but I do provide the tools to stop the cycle of burnout and frustration.

Inclusive Leadership

Can you work with my whole team, or just me?
I offer both! I provide 1-on-1 executive coaching for leaders who want to sharpen their “neuro-inclusive” lens, as well as workshops for teams who want to build better internal communication frameworks.
What is "neuro-inclusive" leadership?
It’s the practice of managing people based on how their brains actually work, rather than how “traditional” office culture says they should work. It involves flexible communication, clear expectations, and moving away from a one-size-fits-all management style.

The "Why Me"

How are you different from a standard business coach?
Standard business coaching often pushes “hustle” and “proven systems.” I recognise that a “proven system” is useless if it’s built for a neurotypical brain and you aren’t neurotypical. I combine specialised knowledge in neurodivergence and mediation to solve the problems that standard “productivity” coaches usually miss.
